Dear Students, Families, and Community Members,

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to Susie B. Atkinson Elementary School as your new principal. I am truly honored to join a school community with rich traditions and a commitment to helping students grow. 

I have over 10 years in education where I have served as a teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. I’ve earned my bachelor’s degree in Special Education General Curriculum and Early Childhood Education, and my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Valdosta State University. I continued to build on this foundation by earning my Tier 1 Educational Leadership Certification from the University of West Georgia and my Tier 2 Educational Leadership Certification and specialist’s degree from Augusta University.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating inclusive and supportive learning environments where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. As your principal, I am committed to fostering a school culture built on collaboration, high expectations, academic achievement, and meaningful relationships.

I am eager to partner with our dedicated staff, families, and community to ensure that each student thrives—academically, socially, and emotionally. I look forward to working together to make this school year a positive and successful journey for all.
