Instructional Coaches

Hi! I am Mrs. Natalie Nolberto, and I am the proud K–5 Math Instructional Coach at Susie B. Atkinson Elementary School, where we are Making Math Matter at ATK!
I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia, a proud mother of three, and an educator with 21 years of experience. I am entering my second school year with Griffin-Spalding County Schools.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Georgia State University, a Master’s in Elementary Education from Cambridge College, and an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
As a leader, my strengths are building trusting relationships, creating a shared vision, using data to drive decisions, and supporting others in reaching their full potential. I believe effective leadership begins with listening, collaboration, consistency, and leading by example.
I am passionate about supporting teachers, strengthening math instruction, and creating engaging learning experiences that help every student grow and succeed.
At ATK, we are Igniting Excellence and Making Math Matter—every student, every classroom, every day!

Hello, my name is Kiayana Capers and I serve as the Structured Literacy Coach at Susie B. Atkinson Elementary School. I am passionate about supporting teachers and students in building strong literacy foundations and achieving academic success. I work collaboratively with teachers, school leadership, and literacy specialists to strengthen literacy instruction through evidence-based practices aligned with the Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham principles.
In my role, I provide instructional coaching, collaborative planning, classroom support, professional learning, and feedback to help teachers implement high-quality literacy practices. I analyze student data and progress-monitoring information to identify areas of need, develop targeted instructional strategies, and support interventions that help students grow as readers and writers.
I am committed to creating a culture where teachers feel supported and empowered to grow professionally and where every student receives the instruction and support needed to thrive. Through collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and a shared commitment to excellence, I strive to help Atkinson Elementary build confident, capable readers/writers and create meaningful opportunities for every child to succeed.
