Greetings Atkinson Community!

         I am Lori Taylor, a proud educator with 33 years of experience with the Griffin-Spalding County School System. I am excited to serve as the Assistant Principal for an amazing school community. Susie B. Atkinson has a great historical background that has withstood the test of time. This school community thrives on making learning the priority for all students and I am here to support those efforts.

          My educational background includes a Bachelors in Business Administration in Accounting from Clayton State University. I also achieved a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Brenau University. Additionally, I obtained a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education. 

               I consider myself to be a lifelong learner who constantly seeks additional opportunities to grow my professional knowledge and skills to support our students. I have obtained endorsements in Mathematics, Reading, Gifted, Coaching, and MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support).

My goals for Susie B. Atkinson include empowering students, supporting our amazing teachers, and celebrating our great families as we continue to thrive and learn.
