Greetings!
I am thrilled to join the Atkinson Elementary School staff this year as the Dean of Student Behavior! With more than 30 years of experience working with students, I have dedicated much of my career to serving students and families in the Griffin-Spalding County School District. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving as both a teacher and an administrator, experiences that have strengthened my commitment to student success and positive school communities.
I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Fort Valley State University and my Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University.
I look forward to working collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and staff to foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment where every student can grow, thrive, and succeed. I am excited about the school year ahead and look forward to building meaningful relationships with the Atkinson Elementary community!
